Rahm Emmanuel is Busy With Other Things

On Monday, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel criticized President Donald Trump, accusing him of focusing on the wrong issues.

“You didn’t get elected to debate the crowd size at your inaugural … You got elected to make sure that people have a job, that the economy continues to grow, people have security as it relates to their kids’ education. It wasn’t about your crowd size. It was about their lives and their jobs,” the mayor said.

Greg Gutfeld, in his monologue on “The Five” today said Emanuel should worry less about Trump and more about the violence that's plaguing his city. Chicago has already had 43 homicides in 2017, nine more than at the same time last year. That means that homicides – or “Rahmicides,” as Gutfeld calls them – are surging at a record pace.

Gutfeld said, “If I were Rahm, I'd shut up and help the police stop the river of red staining your streets.” Gutfeld also said Emanuel is upset that there’s a president in office who's focusing a spotlight on the liberal policies which prevent the police from being effective and encourage murder.

“My suggestion to Rahm: Ask yourself why homicides are surging in Baltimore, Memphis, Austin, San Antonio, Indianapolis, and what they might in common. Then resign,” concluded Gutfeld in his monologue.
