A car terror attack took place this morning at a hitchhiker’s stop at the Ofra interchange in the Binyamin Region. 2 young men aged 20 were targeted. One was mortally wounded and died from his wounds and the other was slightly injured. The terrorist was shot and then arrested.
The terrorist came from Jerusalem driving north. When he saw the men standing behind the hitchhiker’s stop he accelerated as he turned toward them and ran them over.
A Magen David Adom paramedic Ilan Klein said: “This was a serious incident. A young man lied in the bus stop critically wounded and unconscious. We tried to administer medical care but in a short time he died. Next to him was a young man about 20 who was conscious, with wounds to his extremities. We gave him medical attention and he was evacuated to the Hadassah Mt. Scopus hospital slightly wounded and fully conscious.”
