Ashdod fire update: Because of a fire, the Ministry of the Environment last week recommended people in the Ashdod areas affected by smoke to stay indoors. The fires started at Ashdod’s oxidation ponds when thorns around the ponds caught fire. First the fire from thorns was put out, and now five days later the fires in the oxidation pools themselves were finally put out. Sewage from the wastewater treatment plants was used to put out those fires.

Calandia Checkpoint terror attack aborted: A 14 year old girl from the territories was stopped at the Calandia Checkpoint north of Jerusalem when found to be carrying a knife.

Trump received royal welcome in Saudi Arabia: President Trump was received with open arms and great respect in Saudi Arabia. He signed a 110 billion dollar arms deal to provide tanks, war ships, missile defense systems, radar systems and cyber security. He will talk about cooperation in fighting world terror today in Saudi Arabia before coming to Israel tomorrow.

Twitter Owner Evan Williams apologizes to America for providing the media platform which enabled Trump to win the elections. “It's a very bad thing, Twitter's role in that. If it's true he wouldn't be president if it weren't for Twitter, then yeah, I'm sorry,” were the words he tweeted and told the N.Y. Times.
