A rocket fired from Gaza Friday night landed in a kindergarten sandbox and caused extensive damage to the adjacent structure. Sirens went off with the launch of the rocket and thankfully there were no injuries other than a woman who went into shock who was taken to the Barzilai Hospital.
The Knesset will vote this week on “Laws of work hours and rest” meaning if stores can legally stay open on Shabbat in the Jewish State. Previous laws protecting the Shabbat are constantly violated and even the left recognizes the right of workers not to be forced to work on Shabbat. In spite of this they are expected to vote against these laws.
Netanyahu will meet European leaders: Today he will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron and tomorrow he will meet with the foreign ministers of the EU for a breakfast meeting. He will also meet with EU President Jean Claude Juncker.

Czechoslovakia also recognizes Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and so far the only European nation to do so. Czech President Milos Zeman attacked the EU position which opposes Trumps declaration of recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and called the EU ‘cowards’.
France warns citizens to avoid Jerusalem Old City informing its citizens in Israel to stay away from public places and the old city due to increased danger from the Palestinians who announced 3 days of wrath in reaction to Trump’s declaration. The US also issued such a warning.
