From The Declaration of the Gedolim Regarding The Hidabroot Organization
We hereby make a holy declaration in favor of the Hidabroot organization which is doing great and important work in unique ways for a number of years and has merited to bring the light of Judaism to thousands of houses of Jews in the land of Israel and in other countries, and to bring many of our Jewish brethren back to their Father in Heaven, thus preventing their assimilation into gentile nations, Heaven forfend. Up to this point the important outreach workers have had Divine assistance and tremendous success in their endeavors.
However all of these endeavors cost a fortune, especially as they are inculcating- through truly devout lecturers- the word of G-d in innovative ways, using the methods of the secular world to teach the Mitzvot. In order to do this they purchase the rights to broadcast at very high prices and it is difficult for them to sustain the heavy costs without the help of contributors and philanthropists.
In our generation most of our Jewish brethren have strayed very far from the traditional Judaism which has been transmitted to us over the generations, and many of them do not even know Shema Yisrael. Many of them are in danger of assimilation even in the Holy Land and all the more so in the Diaspora, and we therefore request that you assist the heads and leaders of the organization and give them generous and substantial aid so that they can develop and increase their holy enterprise.
n the merit of this Mitzva may you be blessed with tremendous success and good fortune in all of your dealings as well as a generous livelihood and Divine blessing to raise your children in the ways of Torah and fear of Heaven and to derive much satisfaction from them.
