Netanyahu and Trump will Meet in New York Today

Prime Minister Netanyahu will meet with US President Donald Trump in New York and will discuss Iran and if the nuclear agreement will continue and Trump's efforts to promote the Israel-PA Arab peace process.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe wrote in the New York Times that “dialogue with North Korea doesn’t help. The past missile tests prove North Korea can hit both Europe and the US.”

When meeting with Jewish leaders at the UN General assembly in New York, King Abdullah said that Israel must finish investigating the embassy incident. “Whether the security guard is found guilty or not, the chapter needs to close to return relations to their course.”

London train bombing, 2 apprehended, a 21 year old and an 18 year old: According to the London Times, the 18-year-old arrested is believed to be a foster child that Ronald and Penelope Jones raised.  Queen Elizabeth had recently honored the elderly couple for taking care of 268 foster children over the years. The Jones residence was searched by police presumably for more explosives and/or violent extremists as neighbors were evacuated by police.  

Hurricane Jose on its way to NY and Boston: Though only a category one hurricane that still means 60 mph. winds and it can still intensify and strengthen to a higher category. Even if it doesn’t strengthen, it can still bring copious amounts of rain to the region by Wednesday.

Tropical Storm Maria strengthened and became a hurricane: Maria’s path is similar to Irma’s and it may hit the places still suffering from Irma like Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Haiti. The northern Caribbean looks like a warzone and thousands still have no electricity.

Guterres wants to nix Kurdish independence referendum: The Kurds want an independence referendum this September 25th at the UN. Guterres believes that unilateral moves will make any negotiations in the region more complex. Others believe that a strengthened Kurdish Government would be a greater force against ISIS and Kurdish independence is something to be encouraged.

A woman attacked four American tourists with acid in the Marseille, France train station on Sunday: The woman attacker is not assumed to be a terrorist as she has a history of mental illness. The injuries sustained were light but one may have eye injury.

Pauline Hanson an Australian senator wants to ban Islamic full face issuing fines and jail sentences to repeated offenders. Last month she wore a burka in the Australian Parliament and she asks her fellow senators to stand up for Australian values and help legislate the ban.
