Israel troops shot a Palestinian gunman dead after he fired at and injured three soldiers at a checkpoint outside near 'Beit El'. One soldier sustained serious injuries and the other two had mild wounds. They were immediately treated by MDA paramedics.
The terrorist joins at least 230 other Palestinians who died in the past year, most of whom were killed while perpetrating or attempting to perpetrate stabbing, car-ramming, and shooting attacks.
The Israel Defense Forces responded to the attack by arresting the terrorist’s brother in Qabatiya, south of Jenin, and revoking the the work permits belonging to family members.
IDF also carried out a series of early-morning raids and arrested 10 Palestinians for defacing the security fence, being members of the Hamas terror group, and throwing rocks or taking part in violent protests.
