As the U.S. presidential elections wind down, both candidates are planning their “victory” celebration in New York City.
The Trump campaign announced that Trump and running mate Mike Pence will hold an election night “Victory Party” at the New York Hilton Midtown, just a few blocks from the nominee’s own Trump Tower.
The statement says the event will be “invitation-only” and “for friends and supporters of the Trump-Pence campaign.”
The Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton will hold her own New York City celebration at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center on the West Side of Manhattan. Clinton’s campaign sent out a “save the date” to offices on Capitol Hill on Oct. 26.
